My Day At The Beach...

Yesterday, I put on my swimming suit for a sunny day at the beach.  I hopped in Tonka (the pickup) and headed West bound, music loud & sun glasses on.

Aaaah.  This is my feet taking a breath of salty air and sand!  Feel the grit between the toes I think more of the earth should consist of a sandy ground, why do we even bother with sidewalks?  This...is the life!

This is my feet jumpin' the waves.

This is my feet feeling the painful burn of freezing cold Oregon Coast water!

This is my face at the beach.  Swimsuit was obviously not the needed beach wear, but the sweatshirt and pants I had stored behind the seat was the savior.  The sun was shining, but the wind was pretty darn cold!  Eating pretzels, soakin' up the roar of the waves, people watching, and wave jumping fulfilled my oregon coast craving, but only for a bit.  I'll be back soon enough, with a mission of building some kind of crazy sand creature.  Until then, its time to finish up my Gonzaga project and start pounding the Portland pavement continuing the ever going job search.

They look like happy, contented feet, though.
