First attempt at writing an Artist Statement. Plus a video. Why? Because I rediscovered this song that I like and felt the need to share. I'm not really keen on the statement I wrote, but I'm having a harder time writing it than I thought I would.
I catch myself painting, sketching, morphing my imagination into a form that can be perceived by another viewer. Some call it art. Some call it expensive junk. The title is irrelevant. It is my vice. My voice. Sometimes it makes sense. Sometimes not so much. Some silly, some emotional, some absurd. Nonetheless, I strive for no consistency, no particular medium, no specific genre. It is a moment of no definition, no limits, only pure vision of the soul, to which changes every day with every experience.
