Woohoo! My camera is finally back in tip top shape and in my hands once again. I thought I'd post some of the sketches that I've done in the mean time. These are very rough and done with pen on paper, which doesn't leave much room for error. I found at night I can get good light to work with, emphasizing shadows and highlights that really help to build a drawing. I used a cross hatching technique with most of these that give the drawings a very sown or fabric feel to them. Like I said, very rough, but refreshing to be working on realism again.
