When in doubt, always ALWAYS go to the coast
At the foot of the Astoria Column

You propose your voice, the wind whistles it away. You propose your pain, the water numbs it with time. It temporarily mutes your expressions and allows you to just be. Defines the what 'is', removing the "shoulds, coulds, and want to's" A definition needed to be reread from time to time.

One of the many bullet holes in the glass of the Cape Mears Lighthouse

Inhaling the vacancy of stressful existence at Hug Point.

Rocking out to Michael Jackson and a new favorite Sia, some coworkers and I fled to the Oregon coast for a day. Why? Cuz it's never a bad idea to go to the beach. The best discovery was the meat outlet outside of Tillamook. A gas station that doubles as a meat house. It was a beautiful thing. Being sure to stop by the Goonies house in Astoria and hike to the light house in Cape Mears, the day wasn't complete until I got to play in the water.
