After my wreck I was salvaged by the duh-du-du-duuhh swoop n' save from the car of cousins and sisters to go back towards Portland. Splitting from Jen, we headed to the stock pot for a quick drink and some appetizers. Our "not really hungry" turned in to almost having to switch tables because we ordered so much food and then consuming it like a crazy tazmanian devil in 90 seconds flat!
Yea, we're impressive. Don't doubt it. Just accept it.
Rehashing stories and laughing it up we decided to go all out, and hit the town. One hour was just not enough to harbor the laughter that was insuing. Driving back to Sarah's we caught a taxi to drop us off further downtown. This was. By FAR. The most awesome-est, funnest. cab. ride. EVER. Befriending the driver (Igor) we decided to sing a song for him. So I pull out my harmonica and start in with some 12 bar blues rythms. Breaking in time for Jessica to get into character and belt out lyrics about Igor, who was LOVING IT!
It was hysterical to say the least! I was wailing on the box harp, trying to bust out some rifts but had to stop and get off beat due to incredible laughter along with Sarah and Theresa from the lyrics that Jessica came up with!
Getting out, we started to go into the next pub, when I realized my ID case had fallen out of my pocket when in the cab. D'OH! So super Sarah called the taxi company to figure it out. Soon we see Igor, with his harm out his window waving my ID case, yelling for us! Duh-du-du-duhhh, Igor to the save n' pass rescue!!!!
Cousin love. This happened...and then the night ended.
Cheers, to an awesome night of randomness and gut wrenching laughter, with a side of food!
